Our History
Paul Blacquière and Joanne Beehler met in 2001 and both attended the only local hands-on real estate course from Heritage Consulting & Educational Services and are now Certified Property Consultants. The course is no longer available, but the education offered exposure to key professionals required to make educated business and real estate decisions. They also gained knowledge on how to evaluate and purchase properties generating positive cash flow.
In January 2002, they entered into a business partnership and invested in their first property. During the first year, they spent their time understanding the art of renovation and dealing with tenants. In year two, they hired a property manager and began to turn their business into a system that would require less effort to manage.
With their personal goal being to reach financial independence, they understood that it could only be achieved by sharing their success and wealth with investors. Therefore, in their third year, they focused on creating their business identity and launching their marketing plan. In June 2004, they started Spirepoint Properties, a real estate investment company dedicated to making real estate investing easy for investors.
After years of people asking them how they achieved their success, in early 2007 they began offering educational courses and hands-on field trips to teach others how to invest in real estate. These programs continued their vision of making real estate investing easy for the average person. Since that time, their educational programs have expanded to become a full 3 month training program with weekly educational meetings and mentoring, designed to turn their students into knowledgeable and experienced investors.
